This course provides integrated instruction in reading and writing to help students develop skills
essential in college coursework across the lenses and prepare for ENG 1033, Academic Writing. Students will practice reading and
writing skills as they write paragraphs and essays, learning the difference between writing for learning (informal writing, note-taking,
etc.) and writing for communication (formal essays and paragraphs, essay exams). Over the course of the semester, students will also
learn to revise, edit and correct errors in their own writing.
Textbook information is not available for this course.
