Description: The principles of inheritance in plants and animals are presented with special attention devoted to the specific aspects of human heredity. The goal of this course is to give the student a broad background in the science of heredity. The course includes advanced topics in Mendelian genetics, molecular genetics, and population genetics. Prerequisites: Junior class rank and two biology courses.
