Compass: Your Adventure Awaits...

New and returning students will receive their iPad during the Compas Program Kick-off on August 20.

Students, each of you has been assigned a time-slot when you'll go to the Rogers Conference Center to receive your iPad. We'll be sending text messages (text messages will come from 1-901-201-5317) and email messages with session times, so be sure to be on the lookout for that so you'll know when you're scheduled to be there.

Now...there are two things you need to do ahead of time to get ready:

  1. You'll need to create an Apple ID if you don't already have one (DO NOT USE YOUR UNIVERSITY ID FOR THIS)
  2. You'll need to sign the Compass Agreement

Please take a few minutes to do this before your appointment, so we can keep everyone on schedule!

Some of you might be wondering why we chose to call the program "Compass." We think the name captures the sense of adventure we feel in thinking about this initiative. It connects with the idea of placing tools in the hands of explorers and allowing them to use it as they wish to navigate and chart the digital landscape. We are excited about this new program and are looking forward to seeing how it will be used by you and by your faculty in the years to come!
