University of the Ozarks Alumni Plaza

This virtual brick plaza was developed using d3.js and should work on most modern browsers. If you encounter problems with the page, make sure Javascript is enabled on your browser, try clearing your browser's cache, or try in a different browser. You'll only be able to select a spot for your brick if it has been marked as "Paid" by the Office of Advancement and Alumni Engagement. Once you've officially set your brick, you won't be able to move it unless the alumni office "unlocks" it for you.

If you haven't selected a spot for your brick, it will be shown on the left above the virtual plaza.
Click or tap on an open brick and wait while the page checks to see if that brick position is available. If it is, your brick will be shown in that spot. If it isn't your brick will be moved back to its starting position in the upper left corner of the virtual plaza.
If you want to move your brick to a different position, just click on another open brick.
When you're happy with the spot you've picked, CLICK OR TAP THE "SAVE" BUTTON, found on the upper right corner of the page.
A dialog box should open where you'll have a spot to add your personal email address and a short comment about your time at Ozarks. You don't have to enter a comment, but if you do, just know that it will be attached to your brick and will be visible to the public.
YOU MUST CLICK OR TAP THE "SET MY BRICK" BUTTON TO SAVE YOUR BRICK POSITION!!!
Once you've set your brick you won't be able to move it unless you request the Office of Advancement and Alumni Engagement unlock it for you.
Bricks that aren't set by close of business on the day prior to the virtual ceremony will be set by the Office of Advancement and Alumni Engagement.

Please note that this form isn't truely "interactive" - at this point, it only knows what's happening in your browser, not what's happening in the browsers of your fellow classmates. So while you're selecting a spot for your brick, one or more of your fellow classmates could also be selecting that same spot for their brick. Whoever officially sets the brick first will get the spot! If you get a message saying that spot has already been taken when you try to set your brick, it means someone else beat you to that spot and set their brick in that position before you did. If you reload the page, any bricks that have been set will be shown and you can choose from the remaining available spots. We also recommend that you refresh the page after you've saved your brick's position and double-check to be sure the brick remains where you've placed it...again, just in case someone beat you to the spot and your browser didn't know!
