Description:
This course fulfills developmental requirements in reading and writing. It is designed to help students develop reading and writing strategies necessary to master the content of college course requirements. Topics covered will include reading comprehension skills, elements of paragraph and essay writing, and other student techniques necessary to succeed at the college level. Students who pass Reading & Writing Strategies with a grade of C- or better may enroll in Academic Writing or a W Intensive course. Students who make below a C- must repeat the course the following semester meeting requirements cited above.
