Description:
This course is an algebra based introductory course in statistics: the study of the collection, analysis, interpretation, presentation, and organization of data. It is applicable to students in a wide variety of disciplines. Topics covered in this course include elementary probability, sampling distributions, graphical representations of data, central tendencies, variation, normal and t-distribution, and hypothesis testing for one or two sample inferences of the means and variances.
