Description:
This course engages students in the process of discerning and preparing for a professional field they wish to enter. Students will develop a written plan of study that will allow them to acquire the skills and knowledge they need to pursue a career in their chosen field. Furthermore, students will gather information about and apply for internships, study abroad programs, and other experiential learning opportunities, and they will establish contacts with Ozarks alumni and others who work in their chosen field. Finally, students will compile a portfolio of their work in the major thus far, to be used to ensure that students are making adequate progress in the major. Offered on a Pass-D-Fail basis. Students must earn a Pass in order to receive permission to enroll in the Junior Colloquium in Religion.
