Description:
This portion of the teacher preparation program provides candidates with one full semester of teaching experience and regular seminars to address issues such as diversity, management practices, professionalism, and career development. The experience includes observation and teaching, with the candidate ultimately being given full responsibility for the educational setting for no less than two weeks. The experience is collaborative with team supervision provided by school personnel and university faculty. Prerequisites: Admission to Pat Walker Teacher Education Program.
