Description:
An introduction to the application of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) in the United States to prepare income statements, balance sheets, and the statement of cash flows. Topics include the conceptual framework, revenue recognition, adjustments required by accrual accounting, and accounting for current assets. A preliminary comparison of US GAAP to international standards is also encompassed in this course.
