Description:
A course designed to provide the pre-service teacher an intensive exploration of the principles of curriculum construction, teaching methods, integration of visual art standards, use of community resources and evaluation as related to teaching art at the secondary level. The pre-service teacher participates in an art education conference or workshop as part of their professional development. A unit of study is designed and implemented through a practicum in an art classroom. Prerequisite: EDU 1113 Theories of Human Learning
